How do I cancel my VIP subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the app store you bought them from, not by us — we have no way to cancel one on your behalf.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rate My Anime → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Rate My Anime → Cancel.
You keep VIP until the end of the period you have already paid for.
I am not getting notifications when new episodes air.
Three things need to be true:
- Notifications are allowed for Rate My Anime in device settings.
- The series is in your library and marked Watching — Planned and Completed do not notify.
- The series is currently airing. Finished series have no upcoming episodes.
Airing times come from AniList and occasionally shift at short notice.
Someone is harassing me, or posting something that should not be there.
Open the … menu on their profile or on the post itself. You can Report the content and Block the person — blocking hides them from you entirely, and blocked accounts are listed in Settings.
Reports are reviewed. If something is urgent, email us directly at bhuwanenoch@gmail.com.
An anime is missing, or its details are wrong.
Titles, artwork, episode counts and airing times come from the AniList API. If something is wrong there it will be wrong here too, and correcting it at the source fixes it for everyone. Newly announced series can take a little while to appear.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or see the Delete your account page. Deletion is permanent.
